Exploring the Facilitators and Barriers of Social Integration of Patients With Spinal Cord Injuries in Rofeideh Rehabilitation Hospital: A Qualitative Study

Objective People's lives change after unfortunate events such as spinal cord injury, and the people with this a citizen, face various obstacles challenges to participate in society. This study explores barriers facilitators of social integration patients injuries Rofeideh Rehabilitation Hospital. Materials & Methods research was conducted using Granheim Lundman's (2004) conventional content analysis. The participants comprised 13 4 family caregivers patients, 5 rehabilitation service providers Hospital, which were selected by purposive sampling. Sampling continued until data saturation. Data collected analyzed semi-structured in-depth interviews. To evaluate stability data, four criteria credibility, transferability, dependability, confirmability proposed Guba Lincoln used. Results Facilitators injury identified 3 main categories 8 subcategories. "social support," participation," "individual beliefs." extracted from participants' experiences consist "environmental structural barriers," "physical motor "contextual factors" 6 related Conclusion According findings study, order re-integrate into community. On other hand, helpful factors at different levels individual, family, facilitate their process. Recognizing these factors, derived deep rich caregivers, providers, can be useful families, professionals, policymakers. They use program, design, implement interventions reduce strengthen target group.
